Juan Velasquez is a Colombian-Canadian writer and scholar living in Montréal. He recently completed a master’s degree in English from McGill University, where he was the managing editor for Scrivener Creative Review. His work has been published in Maisonneuve, NECSUS, and Cleo Feminist Film Journal.
