Claire Baiz was born and raised in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains in Great Falls, Montana, where she managed to lasso a reasonable college education and a great husband - and raise two passionate, creative children. After years of going back and forth from Montana to New York's Chelsea neighborhood, Claire has decided to tell people she's living in New York City and "just visiting" everywhere else. Her nonfiction and fiction have been published in various Montana and New York-based newspapers and magazines.
