Sean Hooks was born and raised in New Jersey. He has a BA-Liberal Arts from Drew University, an MFA-Fiction from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, and an MA-English from Loyola Marymount University. He currently lives in Los Angeles and teaches English at the University of California, Riverside and Fullerton College.
