After obtaining BA and MA degrees in England (London, Warwick), Peter Tyson won a Killam Doctoral Scholarship at the University of Alberta where he was awarded his PhD for a thesis on the German dramatist Georg Kaiser. He taught at universities and colleges in China and England before retiring from Ullswater Business College. He has published books on German and English literature as well as packs of teaching materials and revision guides. His articles on German drama and cinema have appeared in international journals all over the world.
