James Butler is a writer, poet, and playwright living in Raleigh, North Carolina. He holds a bachelor’s degree in English and creative writing from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, as well as a master’s degree in English from Villanova University. His film writing has appeared in Bright Wall/Dark Room, and his short plays have been produced by programs and festivals in Dublin, Ireland, and Carrboro, NC.
