Ayyappan Ramachandran is a cross-media storyteller based out of Chennai, India. His claim to maturity is his decision to not publish the epic novel that he feverishly wrote in college. He takes inspiration for his prose, photographs and films from life, and makes critical life decisions based on stories he hears and sees. He founded Tellable, a storytelling research and services organization, to study the role of stories in communication and culture. He leverages the discoveries to help artists and brands to have meaningful and profitable conversations with their audience. His works have appeared in top newspapers and literary journals. His experimental short film “Welcome to Delhi” was recognized by a global indie platform. He is presently working on the screenplay of his first independent feature.
