Arturo Silva is an American writer living in Vienna, Austria, where he teaches film at the Technical University. He spent the 1980s and 1990s in Tokyo. He edited The Donald Richie Reader (2001), and has published articles on Gun Crazy and The Band Wagon. His novel Tokio Whip will be published in 2016.
