Zsolt Gyori is an Assistant Professor at Eszterházy Károly College, Hungary, where he teaches courses in Film Studies and British Studies. At present he is editing a collection of essays on British cinema. Part of his research involves the study of cultural/historical memory as used by the films of wartime British filmmakers. Gyori has attended numerous national and international conferences and symposia, and published numerous film-related articles in journals and anthologies, mainly in Hungary.
