Former screenwriter Thomas Burchfield has just published Now Speaks the Devil, one of a series of scripts he wrote in the 1990s. His article on the life and career of character actor Lee Van Cleef is scheduled to appear in an upcoming issue of Filmfax. An award-winning novelist, his 1920s gangster yarn Butchertown will appear this fall. He also blogs about books and film at his webpage "A Curious Man." He lives in Oakland, CA with his wife, Elizabeth and also likes to read Nabokov and play the ponies.
