Sean Fredric Edgecomb is a PhD student in Drama at Tufts University. He has been an actor, model, director, set designer, scenic painter, teacher, and now a new scholar. His presentations and lectures have taken him all over the world from San Francisco to Croatia. His paper "It Was Simply Human: Gender Subversion in Children's Performance" was published in March in both English and Croat. He will present a paper on James Bidgood — "Wilting Petals and Torn Chiffon: the Ephemerality of Ephebic Beauty in Pink Narcissus" in Helsinki, Finland at the International Federation for Theatre Research Conference in August 2006.
