Santasil Mallik is a 3rd year Honours student in the Department of English at Ramakrishna Mission Vidyamandira, Belur Math. He is passionate about art theory, photography, and films. He secured the third rank in a certificate course in photography affiliated with the University of Calcutta, and was selected for an International Exchange Programme with Counter Foto, Dhaka. His photographs, as well as writings on the subject, have been published in a number of international magazines, including
PRIVATE Photo Review, Entropy magazine, and
National Geographic website. Needless to say, he is also a fool desperately searching for “meaning”!
