Michael Green is a Senior Lecturer in the Film and Media Studies program at Arizona State University, where he teaches film studies and screenwriting. His work has appeared in Salon, The Journal of Film and Video, Oxford Bibliographies Online, Senses of Cinema, The Conversation, and Pop Matters, among others. He is co-editor of Race in American Film: Voices and Visions That Shaped a Nation, a three-volume encyclopedia due from ABC Clio/Greenwood Press in August 2017. He lives in Tempe.
