Maheshwarapandiyan Saravanan is an independent filmmaker and producer working between India and the United States, with a focus on psychologically driven stories and unconventional approaches to filmmaking. He served as producer and co-director of An Order from the Sky (Aagasathin Utharavu), recognized by the India Book of Records and the International Book of Records. Previously, he worked as an executive producer and assistant director on Pebbles (Koozhangal), India’s official submission to the Academy Awards and winner of the Tiger Award at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, as well as multiple international nominations. He currently serves as a jury member at the Chandler International Film Festival and the Hollywood Blvd. Film Festival, contributing to film evaluation and festival programming. As the Founder and CEO of Nanmadhi Film House, he continues to develop original feature films, short films, and documentaries that explore emotional depth, visual experimentation, and cross-cultural storytelling. His work is rooted in a commitment to creating meaningful cinema with limited resources while pushing narrative boundaries through thoughtful, human-centered stories.
