Lucian Tion received his PhD from the National University of Singapore. He is an accredited reviewer for numerous film festivals, including Sarajevo, Transylvania, Rotterdam, and Thessaloniki, and has written for many publications including the Quarterly Review of Film and Video, Studies in Eastern European Cinema, Senses of Cinema, East European Film Bulletin, Baricada, Left East, and others.
