Janis Asprion is a film critic and essayist based in Vienna. He is currently enrolled in theatre, film, and media studies at the University of Vienna and works part time at a local cinema. Even though his interests are wide and varied, he has developed a particular affinity for finding political undertones and queer readings within our cinematic landscape.
