Alan Kohn is a graduate of Temple University's School of Communications and Theater. As an RN he monitors adverse events for clinical drug trials. His films have been shown in his hometown of Philadelphia, Madison WI, Ann Arbor, and in The Zeppo Room. He has published two collections of poetry: Sixteen Tulips (Third Stone Press, 1979) and Leaves (self, 2002). He is completing his first novel, The Other Room, set during the American Civil War, when cinema was created. He currently fathers two dogs and six cats in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.
