The Hotel Maid who Kicked the Hornet’s Nest

Every once in awhile a piece of news comes along that we all can get behind and realize, hey, sometimes the law works. In this case it’s the Strauss-Kahn scandal. Anyone who’s seen any of the GIRL WITH THE DRAGON TATTOO movies must surely notice the similarities between Strauss-Kahn and the unsavory sex addicted pervs in high places that are the targets of our avenging heroine, Lisbeth Salander. The Millennium Trilogy films are all about how these bastards get away with it time and time again, but this time, nope! They took the word of a rattled hotel maid as evidence enough to pull this top shelf power mogul right out of his first class plane seat. That, my friends, is almost enough to restore your faith in democracy, or something.

Read my earlier blog on this subject, comparing the Strauss-Kahn situation to various films that take place in France and involve sexually unhinged power elite types getting their take-downs (or getting away with it) at acidemic: The Girl who Fingered the Frenchman!

And remember, Lisbeth Salander is watching!
