Morgan Creek CEO and all-around important person James G. Robinson has put the wood to former jailbait Lindsay Lohan for her “all night hard partying,” which, Robinson says, is threatening the production of Morgan Creek’s new film Georgia Rule. “You have acted like a spoiled child and in so doing have alienated many of your co-workers and endangered the quality of this picture.” (Via the Smoking Gun)
Lindsay, whose real dad, divorced from her mom, recently spent some time in the slam for drunk-driving and assault, hasn’t responded to Mr. G’s letter. But, frankly, what with shaving twice a day to keep her trim in trim, I don’t think she’s had the time.
The New York Times, for one, heartily approves of Big Jim’s bitch-slapping, saying that “Robinson has never been afraid to confront a movie star acting in a way he deemed disruptive to a movie. He tussled publicly with Sharon Stone over her refusal to appear nude in the 1996 film Diabolique.” What the Times doesn’t say is that, in their “public tussle,” Sharon kicked Jim’s ass and forced him to strip naked. And she didn’t appear nude in Diabolique, more’s the pity, though I doubt if even Sharon’s mighty muff would have made that turkey a must see.
